We were surprised by how good this motel was. Extremely clean and comfortable. We booked a Deluxe King Room with Kitchen which was essentially a full service apartment. Just a couple of miles away from Joshua Tree Park.

Great location as the property is very close to the Twentynine Palms entrance of Joshua Tree NP. Good for short stays (< 1 week).

Thee most comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on. Good and big, and idea sort of studio room i’d call it Also the owner lovely man we had a great chat about like and travelling. And to the cleaning lady whom had the place looking fantastic. I would come back here again tomorrow

Dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. Urine on toilet upon check in, various body hairs found inside the "washed" fitted and flat sheets, TV didn't work, weird blood? in the drawer, broken shower, moldy coffee pouch left in the coffee maker. A real dump 1/10 would never recommend to anyone but a meth addict.

Charming spacious comfortable and clean rooms with a history. A unique property with rooms big enough to be a studio apartment, kitchen included. Pool and hot tub and mountain views were a bonus. Short drive to either TwentyNine Palms or Joshua Tree towns for food and amenities. Short drive to either NP entrance.

The motel is a well cared for older property. The (king) room was small, but very well equipped with a large closet, large flat screen TV, a dresser and a small table with two chairs. The shower is also small but had excellent water pressure and hot water. If you are a very large person, it may be too tight, but if you are normal and looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay at low expense, stay here. We also stayed at the other older motel in the area. It was fine, but not as good.

Rancho Deluxe was for us the perfect gateway to the Joshua Tree NP. The apartment is very quitely located, very nicely equipped and very spacious - for us we very much felt like at a second home. The views from Rancho were gorgeous.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the first half of February. We liked the location itself with its U2 vibe, the kindness and discretion of the host who explained us the basic care and respect that the apartment needs without pressing us (you get everything you need for your stay but remember: this is a classic location and you are in the desert!). And again: the proximity to Joshua Tree NP's north entrance and Indian Cove; the proximity to the city centre and to a Stater Bros.
