It was great. I loved the bay window. I could sit and read and watch the water. The balcony was good. My husband and I loved being able to just walk to go to the shops and restaurants.

As I was packing up other people that were coming out of their Apartments said don't bother going for breakfast the food is terrible in there and there was probably 8 or 10 of them in their group. So my grandson and I went up town and ate had a beautiful breakfast.. I already explained it in the above.

Location is good, had a flat screen TV, and a fridge with a working freezer which we needed. Parking right outside door. Heat worked.

Save your money, DO NOT STAY HERE. Literally ONLY the view if you get a lake view room. Everything else was garbage, covid affected but even then the breakfast bags were a 50 cents chewy bar that was flattened and a bruised apple and water bottle.

Location was great. Thought I booked a small cabin, but received an apartment like room; was disappointed.

Only a short stay. Arrived at 9:30 p.m. Left at 5:30 a.m. Just a place on a road trip to shower and sleep. Used none of the facilities. Room on first floor which was convenient.

This is an older motel with lots of nostalgic value for someone who was here over 25 years ago. We still have a room key, old style telephone, small flat screen TV. We were greeted with a welcoming and engaging smile and felt like they were glad we were here. The view of the Mackinac bridge was great and right next-door is a historic lighthouse.
