    Exceptionally clean. Has kitchen for self catering which had everything we needed. Coffee maker and an electric kettle which really pleased me as I’m a tea drinker. Great views and outdoor patio area with heaters. Comfy beds. 2tv’s. Great shower, 2 vanity basins in bathroom. Great location, minutes from town. Close to Yosemite National Park.

    Daniela was a lovely host - so easy to communicate with and very helpful when we forgot to book our Yosemite tickets (she advised us we could go before 6am for free and watch the sunrise - which we did and it was the BEST thing we could have done!) It is around 45 minute drive to the Fish Camp area which was perfect for us. We loved the drive. We dined in the second evening with Daniela's food which was delicious! The apartment itself is so sweetly decorated and is really cosy and clean.

    The location was amazing, quiet and relaxing. The family who welcomed us was super nice and available. The studio is very warm, perfect for a couple or for a small group of friends (max 3 I would say). The house is 1.20 hours by car from Yosemite and 2h from the sequoia national forest, so the position is strategic if you want to visit both. There are also parking spots.

    The foothill retreat did exactly what it says in the title - it was a retreat from everything, beautifully quiet and peaceful with incredible views across the valley. With an amazing outdoor space, we were able to relax by the fire pit in the evening and enjoy a bbq with 2 very friendly cats! The apartment itself was well equipped with a kitchen area including a fridge, coffee machine and air conditioning. Overall a fantastic experience.

    Place was very shabby. Beds old and uncomfortable. Manager kept the remote for the a/c. No blankets, flat old pillows. Refrigerator, microwave dirty, unplugged. Needs major work. One lawn chair in room, curtains don't open. Had odd smell.
