The 2-bedroom apartment is fitted with a living room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 3 bathrooms with a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the apartment. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance.

The second I opened the door, I felt this Inviting warmth of this gorgeous 1900’s home, the old ladies squeaking stairs and floors telling me, welcome. It overlooks the bay and the seals and big ‘ol spiders saying hello on entree, giving you this cozy feeling you’re looking for when you see this house. The house was perfectly stocked for two Goonie fans, spending a weekend in an almost similar Goonie house(The Goonies DVD was ready to go). It was very clean with a sent of aged 1900’s wood and spirit, that takes you back in time. You really need to appreciate this kind of building to love it and my friend and I loved staying there and we absolutely will stay there again. I was very happy to find this place.

For the inflated price the tiny room and the overly firm bed, it was not worth it

This great room with a balcony overlooking the docks was just a delight. There are some dated pieces, but in a charming, whimsical way. We loved the peaceful sea breezes and the wifi was good enough for me to attend an online class with video streaming. The hotel had bikes available for rental (though they were required back by dark, so we didn't go far) and is adjacent to a lovely walking path that goes into the downtown. We especially appreciated the fridge in the room!

The full kitchen was the selling point for us when booking. Having your own apartment made it feel like home.

Perfect for a short stay. Confortable enough for the price. Clean and in good shape. Swimming pool small but good enough for kids. The hot breakfast is a bit different everyday. Staff is very friendly. Rooms have a good size. Two queen beds plus a sofa bed.

My favorite part of staying at the commodore, are the creaky hardwood floors, marble bathroom tiles, and old style sinks, transom windows. The vibe of the rooms are like an apartment you wish you could live in forever-great view, old building character, high quality finishes, giant windows, furnished minimally but style is fresh, in the perfect neighborhood!

Watching the tide change while drinking morning coffee, on the water. Apartment decor is hometown warmth, the accommodations comfortable and clean. The location & view are terrific, about 5mins to the Main Street, and the waterfront seating to the sun’s rise and set is worth every minute.

The bed was comfortable, pet area was close to the room, breakfast was real not a bagged breakfast and during the pandemic that was a nice surprise. The Astoria river walk runs behind the building so there was a wonderful flat without cars, for a place to take a walk. This is where the trolley runs also but was closed during our stay. The pet rooms are downstairs but I still had a view of the river.
