There are many places near apartment to visit for hiking and exploring. There's also a good and affordable restaurant ~10min drive with the car

It is an amazing place, we enjoyed our one night stay very much. The castle, the forest, the views. Incredible. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The room is lovely, everything is new and spotless clean. The staff is very kind and super helpful. I am sure we will visit again.
