Very cute, very remote, very serene guest house in a tiny aldeia in the middle of hiking country. Our hosts baked a delicious surprise welcome treat and we enjoyed a quiet rest and recharge. In the morning we hiked to the tunnel and waterfall before heading to the Paiva walkways and Arouca 516. It's about 40 minutes drive to the Paiva walkways, skimming back by Arouca.

Apartamento Alegria is a very spacious apartment and we had a pretty good stay. It is centrally located in Arouca. Everything was clean and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own food. The bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep, which was great after having hiked quite a lot the day prior. The check in was very easy, we called the host when we arrived and met him in front of the building where the apartment is located. The host was friendly with us and welcomed us with a big smile. I can definitely recommend Apartamento Alegria especially if you are travelling with a family and you need more space.
