It’s a wonderful historic house in the village of Grootschermer with all amenities. Location is perfect for car and especially bike trips throughout Northen Holland. It’s secluded and peaceful but within 5-minute drive to De Rijp where there is a super market and good bus connection to Amsterdam Central (2x per hour). There are a number of good restaurants ( in Grootschermer, Noordeinde and De Rijp) and lots of sightseeing attractions.

Spacious and right in the old town, close to a supermarket. Spacious kitchen and we enjoyed cooking here. Highly recommend. Owners live around the corner and responded quickly. We stayed for 4 nights and room was serviced halfway.

We stayed at one of the appartments, 30B, the bigger one. It was really nice. Comfy bed, nice living room area, kitchen with all important necessities. Also the bathroom offered some nice small items like body lotion, shower gel and shampoo. There is also a hairblower.
The location is also good. Really close to the old town of Alkmaar and the Kaasemarkt.
We arrived by train, meaning we had to walk from the Alkmaar Stationsweg train station to the apartment for about 20min.
Communication with the owner also worked effortlessly.

Everything. It was cute and a little quirky, but we loved it. We had a little difficulty finding it but that's because we arrived too soon and the owner hadn't sent us the instructions yet. The location near a canal in the beautiful old city is wonderful. Several cafes and pubs nearby and pleasant walk along the canal brings you to a nice Spar grocery store.

Location was amazing. Possibility go for a walk with dog anywhere you want to go. Every single walk was different. Birds are anywhere you look, It is like a paradise if you are not used to seeing countriside like that and listening singing birds on every single step.

The hosts, Nolda & Jan, were lovely. Upon arrival, they went to greet us. Moreover, they did everything they could to accommodate our request for early check-in. The accommodation was spacious, cosy and very clean. Tea and coffee were available in the kitchen. We certainly plan on visiting again in the future.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. It was in a quiet street and had very good facilities. It was close to a very good restaurant who were accommodating to our late request for a meal. The apartment had comfortable furniture and the host gave us some provisions and drinks. The chalk board had a welcome message wishing my daughter good luck with her Ironman event
The loft was stylish and spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was wonderful, and such a treat to have a bath. the property had a vegetable garden that although looked finished for the season you could see the planting that had gone on. The donkey, goat and chickens were great . Rudi fired up the sauna for us to use which we enjoyed.
