We were a group of 4 (2 couples), stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights at the beginning of May 2024. I cannot recommend Massimo’s flat enough!!! Highlights: exceptional host, beautiful flat and fantastic location! The host: Honestly, I’ve not experienced a better host in all my travels. Although Massimo did not speak much English, he was always available on WhatsApp and with the help of his niece and Google translate, the communication was just seamless. He answered all our questions, including random ones about car insurance and paying toll charges with great energy and positivity. Location: we made this our base to explore the towns around Lake Como and also made a day trip to Lake Maggiore. We were initially planning to go to Lugano for a day trip as well but changed our plan to Lake Maggiore. However, Lugano is also easily accessible from this location. It’s on a hill so you get a nice view from the balcony and it’s in close distance to a supermarket and some local restaurants for the evening. Accomodation: the flat in itself is immaculate. Very clean and tastefully decorated and very well equipped, including a coffee machine, various tea bags, some bottles of water and wine (though we don’t drink :)) to welcome us. We had everything we needed. The facilities are great, there are air conditioning units in the rooms and the living room. The double bedroom has an en-suite (no shower), the other bedroom has two single beds that can be joined together and has the toilet outside. Although there was one shower between us, we had no issues coordinating our schedules. Parking: right adjacent to the flat. No walking.

We appreciated self check in, the beautiful view from the apartment, comfortable and not too soft matrasse, friendly host, well same basics for cooking in the kitchen (salt, peper, oil, vinegar and pasta), easy parking internet worked well so I recommend also for digital nomads.
