Very nice description on how to get keys, enter the premises and park. Sheets and towels were all super clean and ironed. all amenities worked as expected. Getting to the property is a bit awkward on a narrow winding road, but perfectly explained by the host. The village is just wonderful to walk by and see the murals. The view from our balcony was also breathtaking. Taula del bos restaurant, that is in walking distance, has also some really fine dishes to be tried out. The rooms were warm, ability to change heating was within the apartment with a thermostat. Would definitely come back.

The apartament has all the features you would expect and is very comfortable and clean. The sleeping areas are large, as well as the ones for sitting during the day. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a small sitting area, one living room with couch and a larger dinning area and two large terraces. In this kind of apartments are usually fitting 5 or more, having it for only 3 was great. The public parking lot (which is free of charge) is at 3 minutes walk and we always found empty spots even if it was fullest possible season at end July. Cibiana is at 5 minutes drive from the main Cadore valey, at 40mins from Cortina d’Ampezo, with easy access to the mountains near Cortina, but also on the other side (Civetta, Marmolada, Piz Boe). It’s incredibly quiet and picturesque. It was a great starting point for our 8-days trekking and viaferrata adventures with our 6 year old.

It was a good location for us, the mini-market, bar and pizza place are on the houses right next to apartment. We had a problem with the kitchen sink but the problem was solved quickly. There's a hike route from Venas so even on a "lazy" day you can go for an approx. 12km. hike without needing to drive anywhere. Overall the place is really authentic, there's a lot of old stuff hanging around in the staircase, which locals used in household and farm in the old days.
