It was a small learning curve if you’re American and you’re in a European hotel or bed-and-breakfast, so whatever took me a while to learn the air conditioner to understand that the lock on the door turns only One Direction and you have to turn it more than once, but overall it was a five-star comfortable place with an unbelievably helpful owner.

The stay at Teresa and Michelangelo's was great, we had everything we needed. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The beach is 10 minutes' walk away. Several restaurants and pizzerias nearby. We could use bicycles every day. Good communication by bus or train to Rome and to the airport.
