Filippo is a superb host. He met us to show us where to park (secure garage) and then took us to the beautiful apartment for a quick explanation of the facilities and a helpful explanation of the sights of the city (map and lots of leaflets). We stayed 6 nights and found it quiet and cool with the excellent air conditioning. Some people have mentioned the people in the streets outside, there is a community centre on the same road helping the people that need it. They can talk loudly but the apartment is well soundproofed and they had no interest in us.
It is a fabulous base as it's so close to the train station and Padua is very walkable. Venice is a short train journey (4.80 euros each way and automated ticket machines) and we drove south to Modena for Balsalmic vinegar and Ferraris (2 hours away). Most of our time was spent exploring Padua, a beautiful city with a multitude of Churches and the fascinating Scrovengi Chapel, a historic university (very interesting tour) and if you like your coffee go to Steampower.
When we returned the keys to Filippo he was very kind and gave us suggestions for our journey to Venice airport as we had several hours spare - the Villas were great and we did get some cheese- thank you for everything!!

I liked this apartment ,it was clean inside. We were surprised when received a small present . Nina helped us a lot ,she recommended us the best thermal spa where we enjoyed and after eat the best pizza in my life, nice apartment for this money.
This location was a very pleasant surprise. Starting from the peaceful surroundings and the spacious apartment, to the thoughtful touches added throughout, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our family of four (kids 2 and 4) stayed here for a week. The location is a short drive from the town of Abano Terme, as well as a supermarket and various hospitality points. The kitchen is well equipped, the architecture is stunning and rooms are very spacious. We could comfortably cook all of our meals and dine outside on our patio.
Everything was good,the house is not new,but apartment is in the Center of Abano,there is a market near (they have only 2 in the city and one of them near the house )and a lot of restaurants . What was specially good in aparment very clean and fresh bed sheets (from laundry like in the hotel).Also we received from the owner a bottle of wine and chocolate it was very nice .Thanks
Very good apartment for both short and longer stay in Abano Terme. It is very well equipped and there is everything you need for your family. Also is is 5 min walk from the center and in a very quiet neighborhood. Parking is behind automatic gate and very safe. I do recommend this apartment and also the town of Abano Terme. Take a bike or running shoes - you wont regret it :)
