Robin’s Nest was a self-catering apartment. It had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean. Ann was a great host - proactive with communication and very friendly and welcoming. It is close to Donegal town but very private and peaceful. Would recommend a stay here!

Very well laid out in compacted space with kitchen, refrigerator and all needed cooking equipments. The house is in a cul de sac so it’s also very quiet. It’s a few minutes drive or 15-20 minute walk on sidewalks to town. Kate lives next door is available to assist via app or in person. She is very personable and thoughtful.

Although they said our room was on the second floor, it was actually the third floor. But the worst thing was that the air conditioner simply did not work. Although the thermostat was set to 18 C, the temperature in our room never went below. 21 or 22C. And, to top that off, the system kept shutting off after about an hour and a half, making it necessary for us to get up five or six times a night to turn it back on. The owner was very kind to come by and explain the system to us, however, the system was simply not doing what it was supposed to do, that is, deliver cool air to the room. The second night of our stay was worse than the first, because when we were returned to the room that afternoon, the temperature had to be close or more than 30 C and it seemed to take forever for the temperature to get down to somewhere in the area of 20 to 22C. Very uncomfortable night. And, even though the owner said the unit would continue to work all night, we still had to keep getting up every hour and a half to turn it back on.

Everything was very nice. Beautiful and cozy. Great view. Clean. Warm. Easy to check in. Liked that the owner put fliers out for local restaurants that deliver.

We enjoyed our stay here, apartment lovely and clean, and lounge was massive. The beds were the comfiest I think I've ever slept in. Shane showed us to our apartment and was very friendly and helpful. Location was great, right in middle of Ballyshannon, everything in walking distance.
The accommodation was almost perfect. Fully equipped, everything worked perfectly and a very good layout. Even with eight adults, the apartment offers sufficient comfort. The location is very good, despite being close to the center, very quiet in the evenings so you can sleep relaxed.
