We had such a lovely stay. The facilities at the cabin are great and the location is just stunning, the views are amazing and fab from the hot tub! Bonus in that we had newborn lambs arriving each morning we woke up!

The hosts were super nice an helpful. I booked the hut for Dads my birthday an they brought over homemade cake an put up balloons. The Shepherds Hut is beautifully decorated an very clean an cosy.

This is a delightful, one-room apartment (up some steps) in a quiet rural location, a few minutes drive away from Rye with its easy parking in pay-for car parks and plenty to see and do. Also nearby are: NT Smallhythe place, the home of Ellen Terry; Chapel Down vineyard; the Waterworks Microbrewery (Tap Room). We arrived at the car park in Rye variously at 6pm and 10am with no problems getting a space. The room itself is well-appointed, with a bed which we didn't really notice (the sign of a good bed!), the photos don't really do it justice. Our hosts left us milk, bagels and their own excellent apple juice, plus tea, coffee (instant and ground), butter and jams for breakfast. We only saw one of our hosts briefly when he was hosing his dogs down after a walk on the marshes as it is self check-in. Tip: book restaurants ahead of visit.

The property was very clean and in a great location. We had such a lovely time and the dog loved the nice touches such as a lovely food and water bowl. I had food poisoning and the host kindly let me stay a few hours after check out to ensure I was fit to travel which was a really lovely thing to do!

The location was perfect, 2 mins walk from a £2.50 per day carpark, easy walk into the heart of the town, the bed was very comfortable, the apartment was warm and clean. The kitchen was adequately equipped. There are some great walks close by and some great pubs and restaurants even closer.
