This is a great spot for exploring the area. The hosts were lovely and communicative. The cottage is like a brand new one-bedroom apartment very thoughtfully designed and very well equipped. We were only there one night but it would make a great self-catered option to stay a few days and make full use of the kitchen and really get settled in. A lovely space to enjoy and better in person than in the photos.

Very high quality conversion of a former hotel into a self service apartment. Top quality materials and finishes throughout. Felt luxurious compared to 9+ other places we stayed in in Scotland on a recent trip. The view was pretty good from the first floor (one floor up for us Americans), ground floor probably didn't share the view because of trees. Access, cleanliness, amenities all top notch. A little pricy but worth it. Would gladly stay again and wish more places in the region were fitted out to this quality. Property manager very kind and helpful.
