Excellent, well appointed property in an ideal location for exploring the area. The Chalet was super clean and comfortable in a quiet location. Everything! The pod was clean, well appointed and with a lovely welcome basket. Our host was warm and welcoming. Location was wonderful. The dramatic mountains in the distance, a few minutes walk to the stunning beach. Perfect. And a perfect base from where to explore South Uist.

Comfortable hotel on the very edge of Scotland due to its situation on south-western corner of South Uist. Standard of food served in evenings very high - although there wasn't as much choice as I would have liked at the time of my visit (October). Great view from room that breakfast was served in. The hotel manager was very helpful in letting me telephone the ferry company using the hotel landline telephone when I couldn't get through on my mobile phone due to poor signal due to location/bad weather.

Very short stay on Uist with the motor-bike. Andy was a great and helpful host, I would have missed the ferry without him. Stayed in for the evening with a beer and the other 2 guests which was very funny. It's a long ride from Munich but hopefully I will return. Cheers, Oliver ... PS the room was inexpensive. All cool!

Very well equipt, clean, home from home, had everything a self catering cottage should have. Good location, close to the lochboisdale ferry and Co-Op 10 minutes up the road Had sundries in the cupboards plus washing up liquid etc...which is handy. Would stay again.

Hearty and excellent breakfast designed to fill you up so you are free to explore. The host couldn’t do more for you; not in an overwhelming mother-in-law way, but in a genuine and heartfelt manner aiming to improve your experience. Our short stay was made better by the advice he gave on where to eat and what to do and see. I’d stay again.

It was self catering accommodation, but had all the utensils to hand for easy cooking.
