A lovely characterful property with a great layout. The fish decor and corrugated walls won't suit all, but we were very comfortable. Hay is about 10nminutes drive away. Be aware that the satnav takes you to a house down the road towards Hay, so head past that and turn right down the gated road with other cottages listed.

An absolute delight, nice and quirky which we really liked. Everything we could possibly need for a lovely, comfortable stay! We will come back again as we didn’t get to use the outdoor log burner in the cosy corner which is why we’ll definitely return but for a longer stay next time!!!

Fantastic night at the Calf Cotts in delightful self contained appartment, great reception and a beautiful furnished unit one of 5 in converted 16century building. Sett in the heart of Herefordshires gorgeous country side the farm offers a great base to explore this beautiful part of England on the Welsh border. The night sky was amazing stars super bright not just mere pin pricks of light but visibly tiny spheres of light. So quiet and tranquil, just wish i’d stayed longer.

Host was very friendly and prompt at showing us around. Kitchen is well equipped, including milk, tea, coffee, and even some basic herbs and spices, and the place was so clean and smelled lovely! Would definitely stay again as it would be a great base to explore the local area, especially thanks to the tips booklet the host left out.

It felt really homely and was the perfect amount of space for us both. We both particularly loved the hot tub, we didn’t want to leave!
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
We loved everything about the flat. It was so well appointed and comfortable. It made my mom and I feel right at home the moment we arrived. We both said we would love to stay for an extended period of time in the future. We were thoroughly relaxed.
The location was ideal; central yet peaceful.
The apartment provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Our hostess, Dawn, was quick to respond when we had a question, welcoming and friendly.
Very charming apartment in a perfect location at the city centre. Very silent place with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable and spacious living room and bedroom. I totally recommend it!
Dedicated parking was clearly signed. Key access via the key safe was easy with the code provided via email beforehand. The "apartment" was spacious and very well stocked with all that you would need for an extended self catering stay. Helpful tips were posted all around. The sofa bed was straightforward to set up and surprisingly comfortable. Shower was adequate. Wifi was good for standard email etc (I didn't try streaming movies over it). A 10 minute walk into central Hay-on-Wye.
Excellent apartment, well laid out, comfortable and beautifully furnished. A warm welcome with gratefully received essential supplies. Hay on Wye is lovely and we were well positioned to explore the Beacons. A great find, so much better than the majority of rentals.
