Top floor apartment in central Buxton, hotel in Chapel en le Frith

Offering city views, Top floor apartment in central Buxton is an accommodation situated in Buxton, 25 km from Chatsworth House and 30 km from Capesthorne Hall.

This is a top floor apartment. I (even at the age of 80) didn’t find the stairs a problem, but anyone who is lame or obese could struggle. I liked the central location and proximity to Waitrose.

Good sleeping accommodation for 4 and a sofa bed means that up to six can stay. The kitchen is well equipped with good work surfaces. Free parking available close by. Jane was an attentive and caring host and made sure we were comfortable - a good experience.

Lovely village. A nice enough traditional pub, with hosts that try to make you feel welcome. The food was good, although if I'd have stayed much longer I think I'd have a heart attack! My son loved it though. It's all fair priced, the only thing that could be better is the bathroom. The shower is tiny, and the water 💦 pressure pitiful!! A pretty small twin room but it's perfectly ok for a short stay. All in all not bad. We'd like to thank the guys for our stay 👌

This was the perfect apartment to stay in to visit both the Peak District and Manchester. Key collection was super convenient, with fantastic instructions meaning we could check in as late as needed. The apartment is beautifully designed and has everything you could need - they even offer room service straight from the fabulous restaurant downstairs, so I'm sad we didn't get a chance to try it on our short stay! I would definitely visit again as this was only one of many high quality eateries the village has to offer!

Spacious, ancient, and nicely converted building. Wonderful beams in the flat. Surprisingly quiet, being on the main road through town. The Pug is a lovely, friendly place and closes at 7.30 on Fri and Sat and earlier every other night. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Attractive decking and great view to the hills.
