As soon as we opened the door to our apartment we entered a cosy, inviting place which exceeded our expectations, it smelt so clean and fresh and is beautifully decorated with all the home comforts you’d expect. Had a problem with the key code on arrival but somebody came round within 5 minutes to sort it out. Great location for local attractions such as Buxton and Chatsworth House, Whaley Bridge is a busy village with all the conveniences you need. The apartments are right next to the train station but didn’t bother us, it added to the charm of the place (you can get the train to Buxton or Manchester)

Fabulous cosy accommodation right in the heart of bakewell. Hosts were great right through from booking to sending checking in information. Plenty of information in the accommodation on things to do in the local area. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel also provided which was a nice touch. Everything cleaned to a high standard. Kitchen area has everything you need.
Would highly recommend.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Lovely village. A nice enough traditional pub, with hosts that try to make you feel welcome. The food was good, although if I'd have stayed much longer I think I'd have a heart attack! My son loved it though.
It's all fair priced, the only thing that could be better is the bathroom. The shower is tiny, and the water 💦 pressure pitiful!!
A pretty small twin room but it's perfectly ok for a short stay.
All in all not bad. We'd like to thank the guys for our stay 👌
I found Eccles retreat delightful and welcoming . The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very homely . I would highly recommend 👌
This was the perfect apartment to stay in to visit both the Peak District and Manchester. Key collection was super convenient, with fantastic instructions meaning we could check in as late as needed. The apartment is beautifully designed and has everything you could need - they even offer room service straight from the fabulous restaurant downstairs, so I'm sad we didn't get a chance to try it on our short stay! I would definitely visit again as this was only one of many high quality eateries the village has to offer!
Beautiful apartment, finished to a high standard, very clean. Bed was super comfortable. Close to the little village with plenty of pubs and places to eat. Royal Oak superb. Would definitely stay again if we were in that area.
Spacious, ancient, and nicely converted building. Wonderful beams in the flat.
Surprisingly quiet, being on the main road through town.
The Pug is a lovely, friendly place and closes at 7.30 on Fri and Sat and earlier every other night. Very helpful and pleasant staff.
Attractive decking and great view to the hills.
