Property was perfect for our needs. It was spacious and warm, and all kitchen utensils that we needed to prepare simple meals were provided. Our hosts Liz and Chris were friendly and helpful. Liz even went 'above and beyond' when we asked for a recommendation for a restaurant after finding the local hostelry fully booked. She phoned round several places to find one that could seat us and then phoned them back after our agreement to book for us - many thanks for your help Liz. It was a lovely relaxing weekend - with surprising unseasonal weather being warm and sunny all weekend - something I desperately needed after just leaving hospital after another round of extensive cancer treatment. Spacious, clean, comfortable, homely, friendly, and helpful hosts, couldn't have asked for more. The flat was perfect and we had a wonderful relaxing stay. Within short walking distance to local pubs and town and good transport links nearby.
The location was just what we needed - close to the seafront and the highstreet. The apartment was exactly as expected, but we were not prepared for the stairs into the property. These were really steep with an infant, and I think this apartment should be clearly sold as 'not kid friendly', or for those with mobility issues. Getting our suitcases up the stairs was hard work! Otherwise the apartment was very clean and the hosts were very helpful and responsive.
The flat is situated at the end of a quiet road. It is spotlessly clean and well equipped. The host, Jenny, is very friendly and welcoming. There was milk and tea/coffee available on arrival (with a chocolate each for us which was a nice touch. There was also a map and general details about the property and local area left on the kitchen counter. The flat was perfectly located for the places we wanted to visit in the area.
