Despite the descripton being for an appartment, this is just an ensuite bedroom but the owners let you use the living and kitchen etc. We stopped at this place as our car broke down on the trip to Portugal, once we told our story to the host, they gave us one of their cars for the whole weekend and did not want accept any money for it. The hospitality at this level is a rare now. Honest, lovely, warm peoples. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely rural setting. Charming, interesting, rustic, old-fashioned house, but with all mod-cons (air-con, fans, heating, microwave, oven, WiFi, netflix...). Definitely bohemian and a love-it/hate-it type of place. We loved it. David is very pleasant and helpful. Great proximity to motorway - you do hear it, but it didn't bother us at all. Nice walks through the forest directly from the house. Lots of animals on site (horses, dogs, cats, goats).
