It was perfect for my family quite very family oriented. Staff members were amazing sorting out anything we asked. It does need money spent on the outside area pool but saying that I can’t fault the place for what we used it for and kids had a great time. Plus it was very cheaply priced for August time, it was within driving distance to shops lakes and other kids activities all in all it was a lovely holiday.

Lovely, kind hosts and a cosy studio in a beautiful garden with a little stream running through. It was so quiet and peaceful there so combined with the comfort of the bed, we slept like logs.
Breakfast was delivered to us and was excellent - fresh bread, butter, jams, yoghurt, fruits and juice as well as fresh cake. A pot of steaming coffee and steamed milk.
The host/owner quickly responded to questions. He was cooperative in every way. Location of the apartment is about a 4 minute walk to the centre ville, restaurants, the Saturday market, the Henri IV Museum. Also, it was very quiet despite being inside the village. He provided topnotch laundry facilities and WIFI was fast and available throughout the apartment.
The hospitality of the hosts is fantastic! The attention to detail for example of the breakfast offering is amazing, the warmth of their welcome and the interesting stories and conversation. Moulin des Bapaumes is a house with history that has been lovingly restored and converted for use as a B&B. Yes, it is a 20 min walk (on the flat) into town but it is so tranquil being beside the river and having the lock below to watch the boats.
This was a perfect location in center of Nerac. Just around the corner are several wonderfal restaurants, cafes and bars. The parking was also great so no worries about rental car. Nerac has a wonderful Saturday market!
