This cute little apartment is near the outskirts of Tartu, within walking distance of a nature preserve which makes a fantastic short hike, yet close to shops and a major bus stop which can quickly get you to the city center. The WiFi was not working when we arrived, but I messaged the host, who quickly came over and replaced the router. When he learned we were Americans alone in Estonia for the first time, he sat down and told us about his adventure in America. It really made us feel welcome. The bedrooms have plenty of space for the typical traveling family, and while the kitchen isn't very large, it has all the basics for cooking a quick meal.

Great price. Quiet location. The big bed matrass has been comfortable but extremely noisy. We've got the keys from the minisafe at the building entrance, which was convenient, as we arrived a couple of hour earlier than the specified "3 p.m. check in". It's few kilometers away from the center. Fine, if you have a car.
