This is what apartment rentals should be. We had one whole floor of the house and the owners were in a separate apartment below. They were so incredibly kind but not intrusive. Picked us and all our luggage up at the train station and returned us there at the end of our visit. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine and chat with them one evening. The apartment was freshly renovated and extremely comfortable and clean. 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and a big living/dining area. The kitchen was small but fully equipped including dishwasher and washing machine. No shortage of heat and hot water. It was the Christmas season and outdoors was beautifully decorated with little houses and candles, which they lit every night before we returned home. Altbach is a lovely village with a train station that was about a ten minute walk from the apartment. We were traveling with two dogs, who were also made welcome. And there were endless fields and paths right outside the front door for walking them. The trains took us everywhere we wanted to go, with frequent departures. We would happily return and loved being outside the crush but comfortable and close to everything. Highly recommended.

We were very happy to stay at Giebelzimmer mit Weinbergsblick. Owners are helpful and friendly. Accommodation is nicely decorated and well equipped with useful furniture and appliances. Kitchenette has with everything to prepare small meals, among others such as fridge, stove, kitchen ware etc. We enjoyed the stay and can recommend it.
