Beautiful property (located between Vienna and Graz) in the process of being slowly and carefully refurbished by the owner. We didn’t know the building’s history (google it!) so that was a bonus.
We stayed for nearly 10 days in some of the worst weather that the region has ever experienced (with flooding and storm-damaged roads and properties). Aside from a quickly resolved roof leak, we were safe and cozy indoors. And when the weather turned pleasant about half way through our vacation, we could enjoy wonderful walking and tourist excursions in the nearby landscape and farther-flung towns.
We have already recommended the property to others and would return!
