Situated on a picturesque rose garden, Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo is 2 minutes' walk from Lake Taupo and 20 minutes' walk from Taupo City Centre. It is 2.7 km from Taupo Airport.
Most rooms at Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo has a private thermal hot tub (except for the 3-bedroom apartment), which can fit 4 to 6 people. Most units have a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and kitchen utensils. There are free satellite channels, free WiFi and free parking. Some units have a balcony with lake views.
Washing powder was available on site. The personal gladly borrowed us a clothing hanger. The room was clean and well equipped. The resort is few steps from the lake and restaurants.
Turangi
Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodation with a patio and lake views. Guests can request a BBQ and enjoy access to our boat ramp.
Each air-conditioned apartment has a kitchenette with a microwave and stovetop. The seating area has a flat-screen TV.
Location although I miss the restaurant! That was great set an atmosphere also without it it's boring. The staff were every friendly and accommodating. Lovely!
Turangi
Oreti Village Resort offers stylish apartments with private balcony, full kitchen and laundry, and views of Lake Taupo and the surrounding mountains. The restaurant features timber floors and open fireplaces. Fantastic view with a great balcony. Plenty of parking, close to Tongariro and hot pools. Lovely staff. Everything you need to cook etc. two bathrooms. Wifi etc. Recommend!

Voyager Apartments Taupo is located 50 metres from a safe swimming beach and it is a 10-minute stroll along the lakefront to Taupo town centre. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, a heated outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. Lovely spacious apartment that was perfect for our family of four.

Loved our stay and loved the property.

Apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area. Studios have a kitchenette with a stovetop, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. All accommodation has a laundry and a satellite flat-screen TV. Clean, spacious, well equipped room. The kitchenette worked great for tending to meals. It was a nice convenience to have a washer and dryer in the room. It was in a great location. Walkable to the lake, restaurants and stores. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Perfect hotel, perfect location, perfect view - a lovely lakeside apartment hotel. Attractive landscaping surrounds about 20 rooms in this 2 story complex. Ours was on the second floor with a straight out view of the lake. I loved everything about this place - including the reception staff who proved both informative and helpful. And after settling in we walked the two minutes to the compact and lovely downtown.
Nice and close to the Ironman Competition. We had 6 adults = grandparents, parents and 2 adult couple and plenty of room for all. Had everything we needed for self catering.
We were moved from a 1x bed chalet to a 3x bed villa after a noisy neighbours night! Larise was most helpful and offered us the perfect and tranquil alternative for our remaining 3 nights. The #19 villa was comfortable, well stocked for self catering and ideally located with a view of the river. On our final night we dinned in their restaurant which was seriously good!
Casual boarding house with exclusive lakeside access. Tony's is highly familial and chill—you will definitely chat with Tony and the other guests. Comfortable enough beds. Amazing lakeside walking and swimming. Well equipped kitchen to cook your own dinner. I would recommend writing ahead and asking if Tony can get you freshly caught trout, raw or smoked. I didn't do this, but it's a big fishing area and he likely has easy access.

Great room , plenty of space. Suited me fine for a fishing trip. Good space for self catering and close to other facilities.

Lovely log cabin, the best stocked self catering kitchen we have stayed in in NZ over the years, very friendly and accommodating staff, fireplace with kindling all ready to go and large wood box outside the property.
Self catering and quite spacious.
Really spacious, well equipped apartment in great location on the lake, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Perfect base for exploring Taupo. We’re spending a month in NZ self catering, great to have such a well equipped kitchen.
