Good location close to Black sands beach and 5 mins from Vic. Lots of clean showers. Downstairs reception and lounge area feels more like a hotel than a hostel. Free juice in reception. Well equipped self catering kitchen.

Quiet little town for self-catering selfdrive stay of 2 - 3 nights. The close by supermart Kronan, has everything you need to whip up homely meals to eat in or pack to go on daytrips to the Golden Circle. Hot tub, large jacuzzi, steam room free use by guests is really "cool". Some apartments have a wash & tumble dry laundry machine, Hoover brand which is super convenient!
It was our favourite place to stay in Iceland! It's really quite difficult to get better than this. Unnur and her husband are very welcoming hosts. They shared different tips & best places to visit in Iceland, and their morning waffles were so delicious! The room was spacious enough for 2,the guesthouse modern, clean and cosy. There is a well equipped shared kitchen area for self catering. However my favourite part was BED - Literally, me and my partner had the best sleep of our lives!
