We cycled in from Cambridge and were so pleased with the accommodation. Secure bike parking was available. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. And we really enjoyed the lovely pub garden!

Surroundings great is a wow factor and you cannot go wrong! Dog friendly and use of all their facilities. Staff amazing, always smiling and everything in order, how it should be - so an overall brilliant relaxing stay. Spa great and fantastic treatment.

The room was quite large with everything you would need for a short to medium length stay, it was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the food in the pub/restaurant was very nice, there were a lot of local people using the pub which is always a good sign, we will definitely recommend you to our friends and would happily stay or eat at the Trowel again Thanks Darren

This is a well appointed bungalow in a secluded area yet within easy reach of the town centre. Very comfortable and good quality with everything needed for an enjoyable stay and self-catering at hand. The conservatory gave good additional space for meals.
Fabulous welcome to the boarding house by the owner and team. Striking and beautifully restored building with tonnes of character. Great location to visit suffolk coast and villages. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, great quality, well presented and an interesting menu of local and seasonal produce. Team are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Huge room, with great touches like fresh milk and home baked cookies. Room had everything we needed and all good quality. We plan to return now we've discovered this gem.
Location was excellent in Central Ipswich. Easy access to the town and facililties. The flat is very well equipped for basic meal style self catering.
The Boarding House is a lovely listed building in Halesworth market square with 3 room’s above a restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant has an excellent choice menu. The food is delicious and very well presented.
The Boarding House is a beautiful old house that has been tastefully renovated and furnished. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The Boarding House has a beautiful natural garden, where herbs and flowers thrive. It is a lovely place to relax and unwind. This accommodation is highly recommended! We wish the Landlord Tylor continued success and all the best.
I booked two cottages here, and both were so lovely and had everything you'd need for a self-catering stay. The garden and surroundings were beautiful too, and we wished we were staying longer than the one night to take advantage of them. We hope to come back again soon for a longer stay.
The property was huge and in the perfect location for visiting Aldeburgh with a couple of pubs and the beach on the doorstep. Property was fully equipped with virtually everything you could need for a self-catering break. Loved how quiet it was at night despite being just off Aldeburgh High St.
