The room is small and packed as expected from most places in SG. I stayed in a single room with a shared kitchenette next to a double room in the apart. The shared kitchenette has a sink (+ you can drink tap water in SG), kettle, a small fridge, and a microwave. The single room has a private toilet&bathroom, a small table with a study lamp (if you like to use a computer or read a book) hair dryer, a big screen TV, and a low-noise air-con. The bathroom has all these small amenities such as a toothbrush, showering gel shampoos, etc. Plus, there is free wifi in the room. -The reception staff were so nice and friendly. -The place is newly renovated, so everything is new in the room. -Everything was so clean. -There is a daily disposal of garbage service available. Apart from this, weekly room cleaning is part of the service provided. -The location was great. (Katong-Joo Chiat is famous for its historical Peranakan culture. I would recommend taking advantage of your location to discover more.) -The place is <=1hr away from all other popular places. -You can find many shopping malls, cafes, and supermarkets like FairPrice/NTUC or ColdStorage nearby. -You can also find many places to eat your meals around (If you are Muslim and looking for Halal, there are plenty of them as well). -The East Coast Park and Beach are 10 minutes away by walking. (This is one of the best places in SG whether you prefer a picnic, a short walk, just sitting and watching the sea, running, or cycling.)

Customer service was exceptional as it is a digital key style hotel. There is a staff stationed daily but mostly guests are to navigate through the processes of checking in and getting to room independently. Instructions are clear on what to do. Whatsapp chat was created a day before checking in to ensure clarity and if any assistance is required, there is a direct customer care to rectify. Daily check-ins are conducted to ensure guests are well and no issues arises from the digital key, as we all know technological glitches do happen. Shannen and Lyla, the customer service officers through Whatsapp, is always ready to provide support, when necessary.
