The entire family enjoyed our large airy apartment. The kitchen was more than adequate. St Bridget’s offers all the amenities. We felt lucky to have a massive patio walkout-deck with a view of the Galway rooftops. Our apartment was close to everything, but still very quiet. We even had access to the pub (and restaurant) at the adjoining Western Hotel which also happens to have live traditional music. It really is great!

The self catering and work-space area are 2nd to none. I travel for work, and having the large desk area to sit in which is comfortable, nice view of the courtyard and big tables with loads of space was excellent. The room was very bright with loads of room, it had a kitchenette with everything I needed and the shower had great water pressure and what felt like infinite hot water.

We were in a self-catering apartment unit with 6 rooms, 2 of which were double rooms. All enjoyed having en-suite bath / shower rooms. The lift to all floors was much appreciated, given that we were between the ages of 56 and 84.

The kitchen was incredible and we were happy to use it. The instructions were clear and easy. Also there is a near supermarket which is super convenient for self-catering.

It's self catering but there's a Tesco right at the end of the road. The owner was SO nice and we chatted for nearly an hour before we left! Also she leaves out stuff for a light breakfast every morning.

Bedrooms were great, living area was cosy, host was very friendly, for a place that is self catering they will not let you go hungry as they provide food if needed

The apartment was lovely and quiet. It was in a great location to explore the Galway region and right by the lake. The host was lovely and accommodating and even left a welcome hamper which was lovely to see having arrived at night time. The apartment had all the facilities needed for a self catering stay along with a very comfy bed. It had a tv that you can hook up to Netflix if you want a nice night in. Overall a fabulous place to stay.

Great amenities and very comfortable rooms. The kitchen was well equipped and probably the cleanest hostel kitchen I’ve come across. Felt more like a serviced apartment (with a shared kitchen) rather than a hostel, which really suited us!

Location was very good . We had booked 3 beds in the room but when we got there were only 2 beds in the room. When I ran reception and spoke to Mo the Manager , he was apologetic and said it was their error and offered to put in a camp bed but we felt the room was too small , he offered a reduced rate which included breakfast . He was very nice and we were happy with the hotel service . We ate dinner in the hotel . Menu was limited not a good choice for coeliacs . Breakfast nice . Room was side of river so was fine and not too noisy .
