Great location, directly on the beach, good bus route to into chania town and plantanias, bus stop near to the apartments. Great value. It was the little things that made all the difference. Great service, pool/beach towels supplied and a welcome bottle of wine and some lovely olive oil to take home.

Hermes studios are tastefully furnished and air conditioned opening out to private balconies. They include a kitchenette with cooking rings, electric kettle and mini fridge and they also feature an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and free toiletries.

The location is very good, the apartments are very very clean, they come everyday to clean up. The pool is very nice and clean also. The breakfast and lunch also very tasty

The Mini Beach Hotel (former Maraka’s Beach) is situated right on the beach of Stalos, boasting an outdoor swimming pool.
Our hotel consisted of 9 tastefully decorated rooms opened out onto a balcony with partial or direct view to the beach or the garden. All the units include a modern bathroom with hairdryer, slippers, bathrobes and free toiletries as well as a safe box, free WI-FI and a mini-fridge.

It is a tasteful, well-designed boutique hotel right on a sandy beach. I could hear the sea from my room- such a wonderful way to fall asleep and wake up in the morning. Nespresso machine in the room and a great coffee set up for breakfast, not to mention the freshly squeezed orange juice. Chairs and umbrellas are free for guests and there is a small, peaceful sitting area to have breakfast and snacks. I was travelling solo this trip and felt 100% safe. The owner Katarina and her team of family members and staff were the absolute best. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. Try the family-owned restaurant, Cosmo, across the street- best Greek food I have had in many years. Definitely the best stay and meal I’ve had the whole trip.

Opening to 1 or 2 balconies, all studios and apartments enjoy pool or Cretan Sea views. Bright and spacious, each includes air conditioning, a TV with satellite channels and hairdryer. The kitchenette comes equipped with a fridge, cooking hobs and coffee maker.

This place was wanderful. Hosts are very nice and helpfull people. If you want calm place, this should definitely be your choice! If you want more busy place, you can take bus to Chania or walk to Agios Maria (next city - aproximetly 2km by foot.) Pool was nice and not that small as you may think. But we never been there, every day we were at the beach. If you want rent a car, there are more options. Antonis can help you. :) We were in Crete 2 years ago and we loved Elafonnisi, so this holiday we were 2 days there. There are 2 supermarkets next to the accomondation, so you can buy food almost everytime (they close at midnight). There are a lot of restaurant near the accomondation. We enjoeyd a lot tavern Kosmas :) About the bus - be careful, you have to wave hand if you want to stop the Bus and when is bus full, they don´t stop. About breakfast - Breakfast was delicious. You can order what you want. Beach - sunbeds at the beach next to accomondation were fo free - you just need somenting to order at the beach bar. If you want more nice and more "alive" beach bar, you can go aproximetly 1.5-2 km to Red Havana bar or some bars next to Red Havana. But there is sunbeds for "minimum spend" per day. It is approximately 35 Euros for 2 people for a day. So when you there whole day, it is possible very easy to spend that there. :)

Everything was as expected. The sunset, the sea view, the weather. Maria and her husband are 2 wonderful people. Maria is always willing to help and make the stay perfect and the breakfast was delicious. Perfect for family or solo travelers. Totaly recommend it!! Stalos has nice beaches, tavernas and all you can think of. Only 15min by bus away from Chania town. Main busses on their way to Elafonissi, Balos or the Gardens of Crete drive through Stalos so you don't need to go to Chania for the bus. May vacation was perfect!! ❤️
