If you have a car, definitely check out Skala beach, it is 5 minutes drive from the hotel but is much better than the local one, with inexpensive umbrellas and varied places to have lunch.

And even Katelios is indeed a bit far from the main attractions on the island, we really enjoyed our rides to various places.
