Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
Lovely cosy apartment in a very interesting old building. I liked the size of the rooms and the general character and decor, and the self catering facilities. I also liked the light in the apartment, being on the top floor with skylight type windows in the bedrooms.
As a family we've often stayed in self-catering accommodation. This was one of the best. Location is excellent, the accommodation itself spotless and with anything you could need, the owner very quick to reply to questions. We've done something we rarely do...booked it again for next year! Can think of no points to improve on.
This is an excellent self-catering apartment in a really super location. It is clean and well kitted out with top quality appliances. The bathroom and shower are luxurious the bedroom is very comfortable.
We rented The Snug which is a self catering flat.
Everything was extremely good, even though we weren’t aware that the flat is situated at the top of 2 flights of stairs.
The Snug completely lives up to its name. It’s beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped and very comfortable sitting room and very comfortable beds.
Amanda, the owner, is delightful and very helpful.
We’d happily stay in The Snug again and equally happy to recommend it.
This property by far exceeded our expectations - I have stayed in many self-catering accommodations, this property was so well equipped it was excellent. Lots of lovely knick knacks to make the place seem homely. Would definitely recommend.
