The breakfast and dinner were wonderfully authentic Japanese-style meals, and they tasted absolutely delightful. The staff were incredibly helpful, and they even arranged transportation for us to the train station. The place can be challenging to access with a large suitcase, as you'll need to walk down a steep mountain road from Sounzan Station,but the hotel offers a pickup service for convenience.
Enjoyed the nice beakfast (you can choose between Japanese and Western styled breakfast). The room is great, with onsen-like bath. Staff is very profesional, rooms are realy clean. I used private en public onsen on site, both were great.

Our stay at this typical Japanese Ryokan was enchanting. The warm welcome of the staff embodied the essence of Japanese hospitality. Our tatami rooms were serene with minimalist decor. The highlight was the exquisite kaiseki cuisine, bursting with seasonal flavors. The therapeutic mineral water of the onsen leave us feeling refreshed and revitalized. The attentive staff ensured an unforgettable Japanase stay.
Close to Gora Station. Open and neat modern japanese style hotel/room. Loved the tattoo friendly onsen here. Polite and helpful staff. Lovely hotel ambiance.

You get what you pay for in the good sense: we had a large japanese room and it was exactly what we expected. We enjoyed very much our stay. the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The geniune friendliness and hospitality. This guest house is peaceful and lovely. The rooms are traditional Japanese, with tatami mats and futons, clean and honest. There is a tea/coffee station, and it is clearly a favourite destination for travellers, new and returning. The hosts are very helpful and kind. And the onsen! A perfect stay to offset more modern-style hotels in bigger cities.
