The property was immaculate, we had to indulge ourselves with the pool, experience a bbq and then relax into the glorious hot tub. A perfect stay with everything catered for, we loved it.

Big space with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom is also big and very clean. I cannot eat gluten and the staff bought gluten free bread and muesli for my breakfast, much appreciated. The terrace is fantastic for breakfast.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. How close it was to everything. It was so modern and like a home away from home.

Whispering Sands Beachfront Motel is situated on Waikanae Beach, just a 10-minute walk from Gisborne city centre. Really enjoyed our stay. Great views and superior accommodation. Close to the central district and nice to walk along the boardwalk along the beach. Fi and Neil
