Backpackers And Travellers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Neiva. Excellent hostel! The staff was great and very helpful, our private twin room was specious enough and we had two quality nights of sleep. The kitchen is good enough to be able to cook pretty much whatever you want. There’s free coffee in the morning too. The property is big enough for multiple nice common rooms, and there’s a little outside areas for smokers. We also had what I thought was an excellent deal for our room, so the value we got for our stay really exceeded our expectation. I’m assuming a few people would like to know: the hostel is about 6-7km from the bus station, and is situated in a residential area. The taxi cost around 15000Cop from the station to the hostel. All the taxis were waiting outside and used meters. I also believe a lot of people comes to Neiva to do the Tatacoa desert. The hostel offers a tour for 160000Cop with transport door to door, a guide, a small boat tour, visits to two deserts and lunch included. We enjoyed our tour, and some of the scenery were breathtaking!
