Nabitunich is located in San Ignacio, 25 km from El Pilar, 35 km from Barton Creek Cave, as well as 36 km from Actun Tunichil Muknal. The air-conditioned accommodation is 9.1 km from Cahal Pech. We arrived at Dominick’s farm straight from Guatemala (Flores). We took a taxi at the border (12€) and it was a quick drive. The place is absolutely stunning (make sure to arrive before 6 pm to enjoy the landscape). Our little house was perfect - it had a great shower (including warm water which isn’t always the case in Belize or Guatemala even at most reputable places due to the water shortage) and comfy beds. We were able to organize a bird watching tour with Dominik’s brother the next day at the property (great pricing and great combo of forest and aquatic birds). All in all we loved there: sizable breakfast, beautiful landscape, amazing nature. Dominik dropped us free of charge at the station next day, and shared lots of tips for the trip moving forward. Highly highly recommended!!!

Rumors Resort Hotel features free Wi-Fi, free public parking and children's playground. The air-conditioned rooms have balcony or patio. They offer cable-TV and private bathrooms with shower. perfect location for exploring San Ignacio. the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant and bar were frequented by lots of locals which is always a good sign and it helped us get a much more authentic belizean experience. Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge is located in San Ignacio and is right next to the Botanic garden. Free WiFi access is available. We couldn’t rate Sweet Songs highly enough! Everything was fantastic. First off the location is beautiful. Yes, it’s off a long and quite bumpy road but it’s totally worth it. The scenery and wildlife are incredible! It feels so peaceful within the Lodge. We stayed in a Casita which was also lovely. They had even laid out little petals across the bed when we arrived and we were given a welcome drink too. The food was also fantastic. Great options for breakfast and lunch, the dinner menu changed daily and they made great cocktails too. We saw no need to venture out of the Lodge as it had everything we needed food and drinks wise! Most importantly the staff were all so wonderful - they genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay and went out of their way to help you, but in a relaxed and friendly manner. We can’t wait to come back here!

Set 6 minutes’ drive south from the town of San Ignacio, The Log Cab-Inn boasts facilities including an outdoor pool and a restaurant on site. The location was perfect. We were 5 minutes from Cahol Pech, 30 minutes from Xunantunich and 40 minutes from the Guatemala border. I loved the grounds. It felt and looked like a resort. It was absolutely beautiful with all the greenery. I loved that it was individual units separated by large spaces of grass between the different cabins. I never not once heard my neighbors or saw them unless I was in common spaces like the pool. The staff was exceptional. They were quick to answer any and all questions and concerns. The individual cabins were huge. The food and drinks were delicious.

From the welcome drink and scented towel upon check-in, to the beauty of the property, to the stunning decor and design of the room, everything exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY recommend this location! The staff was on top of their game and were insanely impressive!!!
