After having fled from a horrible, claustrofobic and dirty “hotel” in Gamla Stan, we were more than heartwarmingly welcomed at the front desk by Fredrik. He gave us a wonderful and very clean room (upgraded ) - and the rest of the staff turned out to be as helpful and smiling as him. Breakfast was delicious, the bar funky and cozy at the same time and Rivals staff and beautiful interior made a short trip Copenhagen-Stockholm go from a holiday in hell to a holiday in Heaven.

The room was comfortable and clean with nice toiletries and handy little kits for anything you might have forgotten. The bar was welcoming and the pizza from the bar menu was fantastic. At breakfast there was a good selection of hot and cold options with tea and coffee, juices and water freely available. The fresh fruit was tasty and the pastries delicious.

Situated in Danderyd, 6.6 km from Friends Arena, Best Western Hotel Danderyd features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I was there for work, so i chose this hotel for convenience. Pleasantly surprised to find the same hotel was still there after 2 years, while under new management, the quality remained the same. Great homely cottage, peaceful and quiet. Amazing breakfast.
