Well located in the centre of Funchal, Barceló Funchal Oldtown provides air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a fitness centre. Everything is perfect about this hotel. Expensive? Yes! However, worth the extra money. Breakfast was excellent and all the stuff is amazing.

Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Funchal. Personal touch from the hotel host Miguel, provided itineraries and suggestions on where to go, what to do (factoring weather) and where to eat. The rooftop bar was quite cool. Good location. Apartment was very large and had SMEG equipment, very nice touch.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Lovely hotel beautiful views lovely pool the hotel was fully booked but didn’t feel like it very impressed with it will definitely come back they even let us check out later than usual at 2 pm and we could use the showers by the Spa very accommodating

Having spent 5 wonderful days at the ARTS IN hotel, we can confidently recommend it. Thank you for the delicious breakfasts, cozy room overlooking the garden and the ocean, caring staff. Renovated in 2018, the 4-star Hotel Alto Lido is located in Funchal’s prime area – Lido, 2.5 km from the city centre. Everything was amazing, be it service, staff, facilities, room service .... and for the price it was definitely more than worth - Definitely revisiting Plus the location is all you could ask for, super close to Funchal, Lido and Forum Madeira (everything is basically at walking distance)
