A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. The tent was super comfy and classy. The toilet was huge! Believe it or not, we actually had the best meals in Oman here: dinner and breakfast were just amazing, great quality and lot of choice.

I say this from the bottom of my heart that I could not recommend another hotel more than Sur Grand Hotel! We had 2 flat tires an hour out of sur at midnight. Hotel had 24 hour reception, Hussein picked up within a few rings and was so reassuring, chartered a taxi back for us and arranged for everything the next day to help us fix our tires even though it was a weekend. Owner of hotel even came down to send his regard and make sure we were ok. Truly wonderful experience of Omani hospitality! Other than that, room was impeccable, had a free upgrade with balcony view, breakfast was sumptuous

Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp is located in Shāhiq and offers a restaurant buffet. It includes table tennis and darts. The accommodation will provide you with a seating area. Everything’s is ok and good for family or couple. My request to add kids area for playing.

Very welcoming hosts, great surrounding dunes, lots of surprise visits from friendly camels, nice pool, great food, nice room and view. Service was really above and beyond. Highly recommended.

Located in the middle of Sharqiya Sands of Oman’s Empty Quarter, Arabian Oryx Camp offers a Bedouin experience in the desert. Staff was very accommodating, food was plentiful and very tasty. Activities rated highly among my friends and me. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival. Overall great place to get the authentic experience. Make sure you bring cash for activities and shisha.. if you’re into hookah.

The Sur Plaza Hotel is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. I really liked everything. Hotel is perfect and perfectly maintained. Stuff are very polite and effective. Breakfast is very very nice with wide range od products. I enjoyed very much.
