Breakfast was amazing! A great spread in the living room with other guests. The Powderhorn Chateau is situated in Ohakune, at the entrance to Tongariro National Park. Indoor pool was amazing - heated to about 38 degrees Celsius. All the walls & ceilings of hotel were wooden, such a special feel, just like we were in a ski chalet. Hotel had a bar and restaurant on site, which was great.

Situated in a quiet location off the main highway in National Park Village, Adventure Lodge and Motel is family-run accommodation offering free unlimited Wi-Fi access and a comfortable guest lounge... Incredible staff at this motel. Breakfast and also check in staff were very very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and in good condition. Spa pool free off charge was nice too.
