Situated in Northampton, 29 km from Kelmarsh Hall, The Falcon Hotel features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Amazing food at the restaurant, 6 course tasting menu was unexpectedly good. The ‘bar’ food was also very good. Service was well paced though at times could feel draw out.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Briary Cottages at Iletts Farm features accommodation with patio, around 35 km from Blenheim Palace. The heated under floor was sensational. I forgot the basics but we had coffee, tea and milk provided and the kids even had biscuits, so very appreciated. A very clean cottage. The owner checked in on us, again much appreciated. The kids got to play football at the back with actual goals and the typical UK mud patches. The kids were beyond ecstatic. Ample books for all ages, even Oxford reading tree readers for the youngsters. A fully stocked games drawer with no missing pieces! We only stayed a night but if you are in the area for any longer, these cottages are awesome. We were in for a weekend event at Silverstone, really easy to access. The services for supplies was really close too. We went out in Brackley for dinner, about 20 minutes away which was really easy.

The Rear of the Plough @ Modern-traditional British Bed and Breakfast We offer the finest small scale accommodation, set in the rural Northamptonshire village of Everdon. Charlie was so accommodating and we loved every minute of our stay. Nice and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was continental style breakfast but Charlie even made us bacon & egg rolls to help with the wedding hangover. Lovely relaxing place to stay in the countryside.

Set in Silverstone in the Northamptonshire region, Handley Barn has a patio and garden views. Guests can benefit from a terrace and an outdoor fireplace. Room was lovely, bed was comfortable with loads of pillows and it was clean and prepared throughout. Mini fridge with milk and plenty of room for other drinks etc, kettle & toaster also available with selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Bathroom had large shower with and again was really clean with shower gel provided.

First Class extras and somebody on hand with a huge smile and predisposition to solve everything, great feeling to open your bedroom door and be able to jump into the outdoor heated pool and sit on the sunloungers with sun umbrellas and read. This 18th-century coaching inn is in the pretty village of Ashley. The family-run inn has modern en suite rooms, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant and bar serving tasty food and traditional English ales. The breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We loved their dog Ted. The village is beautiful.
