The hotel was exceptional! It is a great building with so much history. But the most important thing to highlight was the people; Mr. Armstrong was very, very friendly, just like his assistant who received us the first night and congratulated us on our wedding, our waitress Angelica and even the bellhops were so kind and gentle. The hotel also, knowing that we would stay there for our honeymoon, left in our room a very kind card and chocolates. We love our stay!

The location is a bit away from the city center and is in an area where it's not conducive to walking outside, but the hotel premises are safe and peaceful. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms were good. Kansas City is generally expensive, but this hotel was relatively affordable and suitable for a 2-3 day stay.

We loved the size of the room, the fact that we had living room, a TV that was rotating and that the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom. The shower was the nicest we had in the US in our trip. Also, we liked that the hotel offered a shuttle service to the airport, as we left very early in the morning. Finally, good selection of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
