The location is perfect. We had a view of the ski hill from our bedroom and the deck, and we could walk outside, put our skis on, and ski down to the lifts. At the end of the day, we could ski back following a short side trail right to the building. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything one could possibly need for making meals and snacks, and the large island is great to sit at for meals and coffee. The receptionist was very helpful, we were originally allocated a room on its own right by the hotels liquor store. The manager of the store explained that the store was open until 11 at night and her staff would be back and forth between store and room next to ours all the time so it would be noisy although she would ask the staff to try to keep noise to a minimum. When we went back to ask for another room the receptionist was very apologetic - think new and hadn’t realised - she then gave us a room facing the mountains on the 3rd floor. She also rang in the evening to check that everything was ok and asked again each time we passed her in reception.
