The most generous hosts you will find anywhere. Sheltered swimming and snorkelling in NOVEMBER!! wonderful hiking trails right from your door. Within walking distance of the two tea plantations. Watching the sea!! Heavenly. We have been traveling by bicycle in the Azores for two months and this is our very favourite place!

Country houses Lomba D'Água, is located in the parish of Candelária, south coast of the island of S. Miguel, 14 km from the city of Ponta Delgada. Extremely high standard with great hosts. Fresh bread every day. Cleaner came each day and provided coffee and milk. Views from the huge terrace balcony onto the sea were amazing. The surroundings were beautiful too.

Right next to Sete Cidades Lagoon, in the São Miguel Island of Azores, the Sete Cidades Lake Lodge features wooden bungalows with a unique architecture. Free WiFi access is available. The host was very helpful and attending to our all demands, even the last-minute requests that we made. The lodge was quite comfortable and has all the amenities needed.

The property is situated in the middle of San Antonio with amazing, stunning views on the coast and the ocean. The location is just perfect for trekkings around the most beautiful sceneries of the islands and also reaching Ponta delgada. We stayed with our family and we had a wonderful 3-night stay, with Ms Marilia helping with everything and Mr. Nelson guiding us towards the most amazing culinary experiences. We love the story of the property where the family of 12 lived doing farming and is now a really beautiful get-away property, offering the best of the island. There are 4 separate units, infinity pool, kitchenette for amazing breakfast and parking for the guests that is a must at the island. I personally loved the coffee available since I have coffee all the time and Ms. Marilia making home made eggs & fresh bread. There was also local wine available at the house but we did not try it for my husband bought so many (he is a somelie) - but definetely a really nice gesture. Our kids enjoyed the pool even if it was a bit cold outsid3, but the had much fun. We also enjoyed the views and tranquility at the pool every evening, along with local wine 😊 Super friendly hosts, we highly recommend - we will definetely return 😊
