The hostess was polite and discreetly checked whether we needed anything during our stay. Great attention was given to every detail, from decoration of the property to everything that you may need for breakfast. We really appreciated the welcoming local Bakewell tarts and wine. Amazingly cosy little cottage. Was perfect for visiting the Peaks. It had even been decorated for Halloween which our kids loved. Lovely little town just 1 minute away.

The location was great because it is next to Grotton Hall and is located through some gates behind a wall, away from the main road. It's also close to most amenities in Lydgate and everything such as pubs and supermarkets are easy to get to. Great for a hiking weekend too as the North Peak District isn't far away.

One Church Street is situated in Tansley near Matlock. Chatsworth House and The Peak District National Park are close to the house. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a terrace. Wow this was a top little find. There is nothing the host hasn’t thought of. And the lovely gifts around the apartment for us on arrival were fabulous. The cleaning was impeccable and the whole house had literally everything you thing you would need. It was cozy and very comfortable as well as quiet. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Parking is very easy to find on the side street and very close to house.
