The facilities and amenities in the cottage were very complete and nice quality, it really made us feel at home. He was also available by what's app and promptly and helpfully answered any questions we had. The location was very good for walks, a lovely local pub/restaurant, and access to Matlock and connecting roads.

A lovely cottage in a very nice part of Matlock. It was quiet and very comfortable. Felt very homely. Close to the cottage are a couple of bars, a pizza shop (weekends), a corner shop and even a fish and chip shop not too far away. Jo was welcoming, helpful and communicative (Thank you!)

Hygge house was just amazing! It was so lovely and clean, the beds were super comfy, it was spacious, it was very close to visiting my aunt, the shower was lovely and powerful! It was just absolutely fabulous, amazing house and we can't wait to stay again! Owned by the nicest people who let us check in really early due to a really early flight!

The property is very clean and there was a little care package left for us with chocolates, wine, and even dog treats for our golden. Everything was prepared and Clare was only a message away, she also let us know when we could arrive and when we needed to leave which was really helpful. The property is perfectly located for lots of walks, we went to Bakewell (20minutes away) and in between Buxton and Leek for some amazing dog walks.
