Location was lovely. Directly on the water with walking trails, marinas, wildlife and a beautiful bathhouse. The front desk staff was warm, exceptional thoughtful and helpful. Parking was close and easy. Rooms were modern, clean, filled with light, and comfortable. The best pillow of our travels in Europe. Breakfast options were abundant and delicious. Try a hot chocolate or elderflower juice and enjoy your stay!

Room was luxurious, couldn't think of anything that would have made it better. Food outstanding, both for evening meal and breakfast. One had to keep reminding oneself that an English chain hotel would have been more expensive. Although not cheap it was excellent value for money.

All rooms at Reck's Hotel-Restaurant are classically furnished and come with a TV, a seating area, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Each room offers free WiFi and views of the surrounding gardens. The location was perfect for our overnight stay travelling back to the UK. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant was closed the evening we stayed, but recommendations were made and we could purchase drinks from the bar. The terrace and gardens were delightful and our bedroom was lovely, with superb views over the countryside. Breakfast was superb, with fruits, hams, cheeses, choice of eggs and breads, plus the nicest cured salmon we tasted for a long time.
