I loved the quiet location of the hotel on the river in the beautiful little town. The dining area and breakfast room were delightful. Staff were fantastic. I also loved the location as it was a perfect walk along the river to the bigger town of Haro for great wine tastings.
Featuring a garden, Torre de Briñas Private Resort offers accommodations in Briñas. With mountain views, this accommodation features a swimming pool.

My room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking a vineyard, which I believe belongs to the resort. The whole property was in a very quiet location but was very convenient -- it was just a few minutes' drive to Haro where some of the best-known Rioja wineries are located. You could also walk along the river to Haro if the weather permits. There was free on-site parking, which was a huge plus for people taking road trips (like me)
Asador Jatorrena is located in the village of Labastida, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa region. It offers bright rooms with free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving traditional Riojan and Basque food.

The staff was exceptionally helpful, especially Nor. Great location, close to all Rioja area bodegas and wine destinations. Loved the vibe: clean, modern hotel that was very manageable; not a big "mega" American-style chain hotel. Especially enjoyed the outside terrace for wine and coffee; loved the vibe and fact that locals co.e by and enjoy it too. Will definitely recommend it to friends: great value and greT location. And staff.
The Hospederia Señorío de Casalarreina is a great place to stay while exploring the Rioja Region.

This is ridiculous- I have written three different times to tell you and the hotel why I canceled the night before( it is NOT on the Camino nor can bags be transported there)but I keep getting messages asking how my stay was - please settle this
This charming, family-run hotel is in the center of the La Rioja region, with views of the vineyards and town of Briñas. It offers simple rooms with a balcony.
Set in the Rioja Alta Wine Route, Hotel Villa Sonsierra is located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, 6.2 mi from Haro.

Owners were charming and very hospitable. Breakfast was great. The first room we were assigned #204 did not meet our expectations. There were two windows each opened to a brick wall. No views. Avoid that room if possible. The hotel was full that evening but the next morning we were offered a different room and it was perfect.
Located in Casalarreina, 12 miles from Rioja Alta Golf Club, Hotel Valle del Oja has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge.

We've visited Brinas several times now and have seen it change over the years. It used to be a sleepy local town, but it has become more attractive to tourists and the choice of hotels has increased. The local bars are still good to visit though and the local people are great

A good place to use as a base for a couple of days to visit the Rioja region. It has a few good walks from there, a good one being to Haro along the river. The restaurant in town was excellent and worthy of a visit

It’s a lovely little village and a couple of central bars and one central restaurant all were good, although the restaurant was expensive. The waitress who looked after us on both times that we used the restaurant was excellent.
The restaurant and a private house both sold the local wines and we purchased from both. The village is very close - 10 min drive to Haro where there are a number of bodegas, restaurants etc.
Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! Palacio Tondon is closely located to many of Rioja's vineyards and was a perfect place to unwind after exploring all day. The hotel grounds--right next to the Ebro River--are beautiful and very tranquil. The service here was top notch, as well. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant; the food and service were amazing! There was a bit of a misunderstanding regarding the room that we booked, and the staff went above and beyond to address our concerns. Highly recommend!
Exeptional place! We had such a nice time and will definitely come back soon! The hotel looks way better in real than in photos, it is newly built, super cozy and well equiped. Nice heated swiming pool in the wineyard. Amazing people working at the hotel, we were welcomed so warmly and felt like home. I could continue forever, but I see that there are already so much good comments, everything is true! Must visit place if you like countryside hotels, but also surrounded by wineries and few good restaurants.
The small town of Brinas was picturesque with cobblestoned streets surrounded by vineyards and a lovely river.
The Suite was large and beautifully decorated. The hotel has quite a collection of Spanish art. Nuria, the host, was attentive and yet not intrusive. Having a self service cofee/tea bar with cake and potato chips and honor bar for wine/beer/drinks was wonderful. I wish we had booked more than one night. Haro is so close. There are interesting hills to hike. I would love to come back.
Everything was exceptional at Torre de Briñas! From the infinity pool overlooking the vines, to the pool table and self serve bar on premesis, everything was truly fantastic. The best part of Torre de Briñas is the innkeeper Nuria, she is the best, most friendly innkeeper I have come across in all my travels! When I come back to Spain, I'd most definitely stay here again and I hope to see Nuria again!
Beautiful old stone hotel set in a great location in Brinas within striking distance of Bilbao. Spacious bedroom with very comfortable beds and a large bathroom. Excellent breakfast despite the strictures of Covid. Private parking was great given that we had expensive kit in the car. The cellars below the hotel are worth checking out if you get the chance.
Torre di Brinas was a gem. Located just about a mile of the Bodegas at the TrainStation in Haro. If you like staying just outside of town this is great. Would return in a second. Nuria who handles Torre di Brinas is especially helpful and pleasant
it met or exceeded our expectations in every way
Easy to find with convenient parking. Quirky place with dark wood, wrought ironwork and lots of old wine barrels etc as decor. Menus in bedroom gave options for breakfast, burgers or pizzas. The hotel also offered a menú del día - tasty meat stew was good but just a plate of cubed slow cooked meat.
Location was excellent with easy walk to Brinas plaza & bars & short drives to wineries & wine tastings.
Lovely private hotel lounge, bar with excellent breakfast, pool right on the vineyard.
Nuria was very attentive & charming
The hotel is a nice combination of medivial palace walls with modern stylish decoration. The situation by the Ebro river makes it a wonderful place to enjoy the breakfast or a meal with great views on the surrounding nature.
The location in the village of Brinas was delightful. Our room overlooked the picturesque village square, where there was always something to watch. The river on the other side of the hotel offered beautiful walks.
Incredible stay. Breakfast spread was amazing. Hotel is right along the river and the whole hotel vibe is peaceful and quiet. Terrace area is lovely. Super friendly staff. All around amazing stay!
Very convenient for first night stop as only 1 and 1/2 hours from Santander. Staff very friendly. Evening meal superb. Only 15 minute walk into Brinas with couple of nice bars and riverside walk.
This hotel was spectacular in decor. Its a very old building but in great order with attention to every detail. Our suite was magnificent, bathroom, bed and space.
What a wonderful experience ..the staff could not have been more welcoming ! Wonderful large bedroom and incredible bathroom and all in the heart of Brinas .
The attention from the two hostess was superb.
We enjoyed walking to the old town from the hotel.
Very close to major wineries. Muga, Rioja Alta, Roda, etc.
