Ryokan Nakadaya er staðsett í Tókýó, í innan við 1,5 km fjarlægð frá Sensoji-hofinu og 2,2 km frá Tokyo Skytree og býður upp á gistirými með sameiginlegri setustofu. I had a fabulous stay, the owner was so nice and made the experience so wonderful. The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. Toilets/showers are also kept clean. The showers had strong water pressure. WiFi was really fast. Location is good with a 10 min walk to the train station. I enjoyed the Japanese experience of sleeping in Ryokan. The owner gave many recommendations for Tokyo and also where is the best place for souvenirs rather than touristic locations which I wouldn't have discovered without the local knowledge so I am really thankful for that.

The staff at the hotel are very nice and friendly. The Japanese breakfast was very good. The location is perfect, if you want to experience the Japanese traditional commercial area Ningyocho. Less than 5 minutes walk distance to the subway. To the Haneda airport, there is line A to reach directly. If you use the 48h Tokyo subway pass, you would need to pay 370yen of extra when arriving at Haneda airport station.

Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa Hanakohro is located in Tokyo, 2.3 km from Ebisu Garden Place. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Absolutely loved this place. The staff was incredibly kind, breakfast was great, and the beds were so comfy.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. For our first visit Japan, this was a great place to stay. Close to the metro, in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. The bathroom was compact, but it had everything we needed. There were lifts to all the floors, rooms had electrical outlet points and we were able to open the windows and at night a blind blocked out the light. A private bath is available, which we did not use. Washing facilities are available and the staff were very helpful in all regards. Rooms were soundproof. I would stay here again!

At Ryokan Sansuiso we could experience Japanese hospitality at its' best. Wonderful location near Meguro river and conveniently close to Yamanote and Asakusa line stations. Close to many eateries. Charming, little, well kept Japanese style hotel, cosy, clean room. Very helpful and friendly staff, going out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's a little gem. No less than excellent.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Very friendly, great location and rooms were just as we wanted. Would definitely use again.

Tokyo inn Sakura An er staðsett í Tókýó, 200 metra frá Tokyo Origami-safninu og 600 metra frá Chiisanagarasunohonno-safninu og býður upp á ókeypis reiðhjól og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. At the check-in time, we had greeted warmly with a map and directions to a local good food market and convenient stores. In addition, we had been provided with two bicycles and free goodies for our stays. At the check-out time in the early morning 6:30 AM, we had greeted with some meaningful gift for our stays. Exceptional reception and hospitality from the owner!

Nobori er staðsett í Ome, 42 km frá Takao-fjalli, 43 km frá Fuchu-garði og 44 km frá Fuchu-listasafninu. Þetta 2 stjörnu ryokan er með fjallaútsýni og er 41 km frá Tamarokuto-vísindamiðstöðinni. I liked that it was isolated from busy city Tokyo and that it was super close to nature and the mountain. The hospitality of the host was unmatched, the food dishes were delicious and hearty. I saw a tanuki the first day of the trip. It was an amazing day even when it’s rainy, because you can stay inside and relax.
