Room was spacious and comfortable, with own private onsen. They offered different patterned yukata for us to choose! We ordered dinner and breakfast and they offered the best meals we had to-date fr hotel/ ryokan. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. Free coffee / tea at lobby were a bonus.

The location was perfect with many shops in walking distance. The proprietor was very kind. The 3 breakfasts we got were different each day, authentic, and delicious. Room was cleaned everyday while we were out.

Boasting 4 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Yuyado Unzen Shinyu is located a 30-minute drive from Shimabaragaiko Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at public areas. Everything - the room, service and food were all exceptional.

Unzen Kyushu Hotel is a minute's walk from Unzen Jigoku and an 18-minute walk from Unzen National Park. The ryokan features luggage storage space. The location was perfect right next to Unzen Jigoku and waking up to the view outside our hotel room was peaceful and prayerful. The private onsen in the room was heavenly and we took advantage of it sometimes multiple times a day. The meals (breakfast and dinner courses) were delicious and gave us a wide range of Japanese dishes. It was also nice to be able to walk down in our Japanese PJ's to relaxingly eat and gaze out the window on Unzen Jigoku. The service was very attentive. The rooms were very spacious.

Nisshokan Bettei Koyotei is located in the Nagasaki Area, a 10-minute drive from Nagasaki Peace Park. Featuring views of the beautiful Nagasaki, it offers a public bath and free parking. Spectacular views of Nagasaki. Excellent kaiseki dinner (in room) and Japanese breakfast (in dining room). Wonderful staff who made us feel incredibly welcome despite language barrier. The property is affiliated with a much larger one next door which provides access to additional large public baths.

Nagasaki Hotel Seifu provides Japanese-style and Western rooms with sweeping bay and city views. It features indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, karaoke rooms and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. It’s an amazing place. Starting from the entrance with an artistic doors and walls long the escalator to bring us at the front desk. They have a large selection of yukatas, so you can chose the one you prefer. From the room with the view you can see the bay of Nagasaki. The onsen on the 3rd floor is lovely but the one on the 11th is amazing! It has a large pool outdoor from where you can see all over the city. If you stay at this hotel, you don’t need to go on the very top of the mountain. Both the dinner and the breakfast have an large buffet full of various exquisite food. They have a shuttle service to the station. Very happy with my staying.

Boasting public baths and a sky lounge with beautiful views of Nagasaki, Inasayama Kanko Hotel is a 10-minute drive from JR Nagasaki Train Station. Location was awesome, attention was great, room was huge and had amazing views. Onsen was a great addition.

Nisshokan Shinkan Baishokaku is located in the Nagasaki City, a 10-minute drive from Nagasaki Peace Park. Featuring beautiful views of Nagasaki, it offers a public bath and free parking. Great hilltop location for the splendid Nagasaki night view, from both room and bath pool.
